What Is House Church?
House churches are a primary way we share life and learn to follow Jesus together at Restoration. We gather as one church on Sundays. Our house churches gather on Wednesdays across Boise, Meridian, and the Treasure Valley.
Each house church is led by trained leaders who make space for meaningful conversations, authentic relationships, and growing in faith.
What a Gathering Looks Like
We gather in a host home, share a potluck-style meal, and make space for both the good and the messy parts of life. Together, we open Scripture, have honest conversations, pray for one another, and learn to become more faithful apprentices of Jesus.
House church is about more than a weekly meeting. It is shared life that helps us live out the love and mission of Jesus in our neighborhoods and everyday lives.
Kids and Families
Children are part of the church and apprentices of Jesus, too. They are not a distraction to manage or something to get through. Our heart is to include them as much as possible in our shared life, prayer, and apprenticeship to Jesus.
Each house church handles children’s ministry a little differently. Connect with the house church leader before visiting to learn what that looks like for your family.
