Restoration is a church of house churches in Boise, Meridian, and the Treasure Valley. We’re learning to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what he did.
That takes shape in ordinary life: prayer in the middle of a busy week, meals with people who know us, and love for the neighbors God has placed around us.
Our prayer is simple: that the peace of Christ would rule our hearts, and that his Spirit would form us into people who look a little more like Jesus.

Acts 2 gives us a picture of life with Jesus: prayer, shared tables, and love that reaches beyond ourselves. Three rhythms shape our life together.

Life with the Spirit
We make room to be with God. Through Scripture, prayer, worship, and listening, we learn to notice the Spirit’s presence and follow his lead.
We depend on him to form us into the likeness of Jesus and work among us in ways we cannot manufacture.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, to fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and to prayer. Then everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and signs were being performed through the apostles.”

Life in Kinship
We share more than a weekly gathering. Around tables and in honest friendship, we learn one another’s stories, carry burdens, and practice forgiveness.
Children belong in this shared life, too. We become more like Jesus as we learn to love one another.
“Every day they devoted themselves to meeting together in the temple, and broke bread from house to house. They ate their food with joyful and sincere hearts.”

Life on Mission
We join Jesus in the places we already live: our homes, neighborhoods, schools, and workplaces.
We listen, serve, share what we have, and make room for people. Our hope is that neighbors would experience the love of Jesus through simple, faithful acts.

Church around the table.
House churches are a primary way we share life at Restoration. On Wednesdays, we gather in homes across the Treasure Valley to share a meal, open Scripture, pray, and care for one another.
These are places to be known and to practice the way of Jesus together. Children are part of the church, and we want them included in that life. Connect with a house church leader to learn what a gathering looks like.
One family on Sundays.
On Sundays, our house churches gather as one church family. We sing, open Scripture, pray, receive communion, and make space to respond to God.
You don’t need to know the songs or have everything figured out. Come as you are, bring your questions, and join us as we learn to follow Jesus.
